Navitas Semiconductor NV6427 Bi-Directional GaNFast™ Power Switches
Navitas Semiconductor NV6427 Bi-Directional GaNFast™ Power Switches are designed to block voltage in both directions. A monolithic, integrated substrate-clamping circuit between each source and the common substrate automatically clamps the source-to-substrate voltage. Navitas’ unique substrate clamp technology delivers optimized switching performance during 4-quadrant operation compared to a floating-substrate switch, which can experience a "back-gating effect".
The Navitas NV6427 GaNFast Power Switches also feature a thermally enhanced, top-cooled SMD with gull-wing leads for superior board-level temperature cycling.
The NV6427 is the ideal choice for topologies that use 4-quadrant switches to capture the advantages of bidirectional GaN for high-frequency, high-power-density, high-efficiency systems in solar, industrial, motor drive, and EV segments.
