SAM R35 LoRa® Sub-GHz SiP Microcontrollers

Microchip Technology SAM R35 LoRa® Sub-GHz System-in-Package (SiP) Microcontrollers feature a 32-bit Arm® Cortex-M0+ processor that runs up to 48MHz (maximum) (2.46 CoreMark/MHz). The SAM R35 family offers 256KB of flash and 40KB of SRAM and includes an area of battery-backed-up SRAM. These R35 MCUs are ultra-low power MCUs equipped with a UHF transceiver that supports LoRa and FSK modulation. The SAM R35 LoRa SiP family devices have accurate low-power external and internal oscillators. These SAM R35 MCUs include four software-selectable sleep modes, like Idle, Standby, Backup, and Off-modes, supporting some internal operations. The SAM R35 MCUs operate at a 1.8V to 3.6V supply voltage range. These SAM R35 SiPs can significantly reduce the time to market for Internet of Things (IoT) designs.

Connected (Wired & Wireless)

Microchip Technology Connectivity is easy to add to applications, as Microchip's MCUs and MPUs are designed to be compatible with Microchip wired and wireless devices. Robust, reliable, high-speed connectivity is available with a broad portfolio of wired connectivity solutions. Mobility, convenience, and enhanced user experience are possible with a wide range of wireless connectivity solutions. And, with pre-certified modules, designers can avoid worrying about communication regulations.‌

32-Bit SAM Microcontrollers

Microchip Technology 32-Bit SAM Microcontrollers, powered by Arm® Cortex® CPUs, provide a unique combination of performance, power efficiency, and design flexibility. SAM MCUs offer a variety of advanced peripherals that make them an excellent option for developing all kinds of 32-bit embedded applications. These peripherals include the enhanced Peripheral Touch Controller (PTC), low-power sleepwalking peripherals, the efficient Event System, and a rich set of high-performance analog features.

SAM R30 Ultra-Low Power RF Microcontrollers

Microchip Technology SAM R30 Ultra-Low Power RF Microcontrollers are a single-chip System in Package (SiP) incorporating an ultra-low-power MCU with an 802.15.4 sub-GHz radio. The SAM R30 MCUs deliver design flexibility and proven reliability all in a small 5mm x 5mm package, making it ideally suited for the connected home, smart city, and industrial applications. When used in a mesh network, the SAM R30 delivers reliable wide-area coverage for applications such as street lighting or wind and solar farms.
