Mouser Electronics Sponsors MOST Amazing Race in Support of The Salvation Army

Mouser is proud to be the title sponsor of The Salvation Army's MOST Amazing Race, taking place September 9 in Arlington, Texas.

July 25, 2017 - Mouser Electronics, Inc., the industry leader for empowering innovation, is proud to be the title sponsor of The Salvation Army's MOST Amazing Race, taking place September 9 in Arlington, Texas. Teams of two individuals will race around central Arlington, following clues, completing tasks and hoping to win the first place prize while raising funds for The Salvation Army. The teams will conquer a variety of mental, physical, thrilling, and fun tasks, and all money raised by the race will fund Salvation Army programs in the Arlington and Mansfield areas.

"We are excited to be involved in this charitable endeavor. "The Salvation Army is an important non-profit organization, and we're proud to sponsor this event and its worthwhile cause."

Since its start in 2014, the MOST Amazing Race in Arlington has raised more than $55,000 for community needs, including housing, meals, and educational summer camps. The race will begin in central Arlington, where up to 40 teams will compete to find clues and checkpoints. To make things more interesting, teams who raise over $1,000 receive a 10-minute head start. Registration for the race is open now through September 1 at mostamazingracetx.org.

The YET provides kids the opportunity to try new activities, find new talents, and make lasting memories. The center offers a comprehensive array of personal development activities to disadvantaged youth including the basics of reading, writing and arithmetic, as well as technology and computer literacy, homework help, tutoring programs, a life-lessons curriculum, and nutrition and creative arts programs.
