April 16, 2026Mouser Electronics, Inc., the New Product Introduction (NPI) leader™ empowering innovation, proudly announces that it will be a sponsor of Future STEAM's 2026 Ten80 STEM Challenge National Finals, April 24–25, at the Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord, NC.

"Mouser is excited to support Future STEAM and its highly engaging Ten80 STEM educational initiatives for students," said Kevin Hess, Mouser's Senior Vice President of Marketing. "Education is central to Mouser's history, and we gladly support STEM events like this to help prepare students for successful careers as leaders of technological innovation."

Ten80 Racing and Autonomous Electric Vehicle (AV/EV) teams challenge students to explore how engineering performance and emerging technologies shape personal, academic, and professional pursuits. Working in collaborative teams, students apply ingenuity, critical thinking, and strong communication skills while competing in face-to-face events (virtual and in-person) and an ongoing online points race.

Students take on hands-on engineering challenges through race engineering, coding and automation, electric and autonomous vehicle systems, and design and fabrication. Teams also engage in future-ready challenges — including project management, marketing communications, community outreach, and data-driven design research — ensuring every student can have a meaningful role while developing real technical and professional skills.

The Ten80 STEM Challenges are produced by Future STEAM, a national organizing force for local, state, and national team-based educational competitions across industries like energy, automotive, construction, and manufacturing. All of Future STEAM's K-12 programs equip students with the skills that employers value most — collaboration, perseverance, clear communication, and real-world problem-solving using authentic tools. Technologies evolve, but the ability to think, adapt, and solve is the future-ready goal for every Future STEAM student. Future STEAM is a registered 501c3 nonprofit.
