Murata SCH16T-K01 6-DOF Gyroscope, Now at Mouser Electronics, Enables High-Precision Machine Control and Positioning Applications

Murata Electronics SCH16T-K01 gyroscope is AEC-Q100 qualified and combines three-axis angular rate and three-axis accelerometers with a digital SPI interface. The angular rate and accelerometer sensor elements are built on Murata's capacitive 3D-MEMS technology, and the signal processing is completed by a single mixed-signal ASIC that provides angular rate and acceleration via a flexible SafeSPI v2.0 compliant digital interface. This device features a ±300°/s calibrated angular rate measurement range, ±80m/s2 calibrated acceleration measurement range, and an auxiliary digital accelerometer channel with up to ±260m/s2 dynamic range. The SCH16T-K01 gyroscope offers extensive self-diagnostic features and angular rate and acceleration low pass filters ranging from 13Hz to 370Hz cut-off rate.
Applications for SCH16T-K01 include inertial navigation and positioning, machine control and guidance, dynamic inclination, robotic control, and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
