Mouser-Sponsored Vasser Sullivan Lexus Racing Team Gears Up for IMSA Long Beach Circuit

April 16, 2024 – Mouser Electronics, Inc., the New Product Introduction (NPI) leader™ empowering innovation, proudly sponsors the Vasser Sullivan Lexus Racing team and will be cheering them on in the third race of the 2024 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season at the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach in California on April 20.

The 1.968-mile, 11-turn Long Beach Street Circuit encircles the Long Beach Convention Center and runs down scenic Shoreline Drive. The track offers numerous overtaking opportunities, including the hairpin first turn which leads to the frontstretch. The Vasser Sullivan Lexus Racing team captured double podium results at the Grand Prix of Long Beach the last two years, with the GTD PRO team scoring first place in 2023. The team will be also working to build on their momentum coming off a first-place win in the GTD PRO class in Sebring.

The 2024 season marks the sixth season Lexus and Vasser Sullivan have partnered together. The full-time driver lineups for Vasser Sullivan Racing include Jack Hawksworth and Ben Barnicoat in the No. 14 Lexus RC F GT3 in the GTD PRO class, with Parker Thompson and Frankie Montecalvo co-driving the No. 12 Lexus entry in the GTD class. Kyle Kirkwood and Aaron Telitz join the driver pairs in the No. 14 and 12 cars for select IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship endurance races this season.
