Würth Elektronik MagI³C WPME-FIRM Fixed Isolated Regulator Modules are fully integrated DC-DC converters with a regulated 5V output and functional isolation. The devices integrate the switching power stage, control circuitry, transformer, and capacitors to reduce design complexity, development costs, and time-to-market. Both variants operate from a 9V to 36V input and deliver up to 6W of output power at 1.2A with efficiencies up to 82%.
The Würth Elektronik MagI³C WPME-FIRM modules are available in SIP-8 and DIP-24 packages for different space, isolation, filtering, and operating-temperature requirements. The SIP-8 version provides 1.6kVDC functional isolation, spread-spectrum operation, and compliance with EN55032 Class B emissions. The metal-housed DIP-24 version supplies 1.5kVDC functional isolation, integrated input and output filters, and operation without thermal derating across its ambient temperature range. The modules are designed for data acquisition, test and measurement systems, interface and microcontroller supplies, and industrial control.
