u-blox JODY-W6 Host-Based Compact Wi-Fi® 6E Modules are designed to meet the stringent reliability and quality demands of advanced IVI and TCU applications, including in‑car hotspots, Apple CarPlay, and multi‑client video streaming. The u-blox JODY-W6 modules are equally well-suited for industrial automation, healthcare, network infrastructure, and smart building solutions. The modules support IEEE 802.11ax with data rates of up to 1.34Gbit/s across three frequency bands. This support enables concurrent dual‑Wi‑Fi operation: 2×2 at 5/6GHz and 1×1 at 2.4GHz. The modules can operate as an access point, station, peer‑to‑peer device, or in mixed configurations.

JODY‑W6 is qualified to BLUETOOTH® Core Specification 5.4 and supports Bluetooth dual‑mode, offering high data throughput, extended advertising, long‑range capabilities, and isochronous channels for LE Audio, all fully simultaneous with Wi‑Fi operation.

The modules interface with host processors running Linux or Android via multiple connection options. Professional‑grade versions are based on the NXP IW623 chipset, while automotive‑grade variants use the NXP AW692 and AW693 chipsets. These u-blox automotive modules are qualified per the u‑blox qualification policy based on AEC‑Q104 and are manufactured in compliance with ISO/TS 16949.

Migration from other JODY products is supported with minimal initial design effort.
