Transtector THUNDERBOLT Outdoor Data Surge Protectors (SPDs)
Transtector THUNDERBOLT Outdoor Data Surge Protectors (SPDs) use Gas Discharge Tube (GDT), Transient Blocking Unit (TBU), or Silicon Avalanche Suppression Diode (SASD) technology to protect equipment in 10/1000 Base-T or Gigabit Ethernet/PoE+ (or PoE++) networks while remaining transparent to data throughput. These Transtector outdoor-style SPDs provide effective protection against electrical transients generated by lightning and internal switching events. The THUNDERBOLT Outdoor series supports long-term system reliability by absorbing high amounts of transient energy while maintaining a very low clamping voltage.
