Toshiba TAR5S Bipolar Linear Integrated Circuits are comprised of general-purpose bipolar single-power-supply devices incorporating a control pin. The control pin can be used to turn the general-purpose bipolar single-power-supply devices on and off. The Toshiba TAR5S features a low standby current, overtemperature protection, and overcurrent protection. The overtemperature and overcurrent protection circuits are built into the devices' output circuits.
