Toshiba MOSFETs for Industrial & Lighting Applications
Toshiba 60V and 100V Power MOSFETs for Industrial and Lighting Applications include the 60V SSM3K341 and the 100V SSM3K361 families. These MOSFETs feature industry-leading low on-resistance and are suited to load switching in television and industrial lighting. The devices are also good candidates for industrial automation systems that require low to medium power.Increasing demand for power-saving LEDs has led to the growing use of N-channel MOSFETs as switches for LED drivers. Toshiba’s SSM3K341R and SSM3K361R address this demand with typical RDS(ON) ratings (at VGS=4.5V) of 36mΩ and 65mΩ, respectively. Additionally, both devices support a maximum channel temperature of +175°C, which enables them to be used in a wide range of challenging industrial applications. The SSM3K341R and SSM3K361R are also available in a UDFN6 package which is more compact yet provides superior heat dissipation through the large metal slug on the bottom side.
The SOT-23F package reduces heat dissipation from turn-on loss by approximately 65% compared to previous Toshiba products. The MOSFETs' small package size maintains the same heat dissipation level while reducing the overall footprint by approximately 64% compared to a conventional SOT-89 package. The TSOP6F is a similar high performance package for SSM6N815R, which houses two 100V N-channel MOSFETs.
