Texas Instruments TPUL2T123/-Q1 Monostable Multivibrators

Texas Instruments TPUL2T123/-Q1 Monostable Multivibrators offer two independent, RC-configurable, retriggerable monostable multivibrators for 1.5V to 5.5V operation. The output pulse duration is set by selecting external resistance and capacitance values, with an approximate output pulse width of two × R × C.

The TPUL2T123/-Q1 devices feature three trigger inputs for rising-edge or falling-edge triggering, along with an asynchronous clear input that can stop an active output pulse. Schmitt-trigger architecture on all trigger inputs supports slow input transition rates and improves noise immunity. These devices are available in a wettable-flank QFN package, are RC configurable from 1µs to 860ms, and support TTL-compatible operation with a 4.5V to 5.5V supply. The devices also support single-supply voltage translation for selected up-translation and down-translation requirements.

The TI TPUL2T123/-Q1 is ideal for applications such as demodulating a digital Amplitude Shift Keying (ASK) signal, resetting a system for a fixed period of time, generating a positive fixed-width digital pulse, detecting rising or falling digital signal edges, and debouncing a switch.

The TPUL2T123-Q1 is AEC-Q100 qualified for automotive applications.
