Texas Instruments JOYSTICK-MAG-ACC Joystick Magnetic Accessory
Texas Instruments JOYSTICK-MAG-ACC Joystick Magnetic Accessory is developed for magnetic sensing evaluation modules such as the TMAG5170UEVM 3D Hall-Effect sensor EVM. The TI JOYSTICK-MAG-ACC attachment implements a 3/8" (9.5mm) spherical magnet as a magnetic field source and mechanical bearing.
The magnet clips into the base, where it may pivot above a three-dimensional Hall effect sensor. This motion enables the magnet to supply the necessary magnetic field input to the sensor to detect both the angle and magnitude of tilt.
