Texas Instruments BQ79718B-Q1 Battery Monitor is an automotive device that provides precise cell voltage measurements for up to 18-series battery modules. This enables high-voltage Battery Management Systems (BMS) in xEV and EV applications. This battery monitor offers various channel options in the same package type, providing pin-to-pin compatibility. The BQ79718B-Q1 device is designed for centralized or distributed architectures in xEV powertrain with the daisy-chain isolated by a transformer or capacitor. This battery monitor is AEC-Q100 qualified for automotive applications. The BQ79718B-Q1 monitor is ideal for Battery Management System (BMS) in hybrid and electric powertrain systems, energy storage battery packs with BMS.
