Skyworks Solutions Inc. SKYA21043 High-Power Front-End Module

Skyworks Solutions Inc. SKYA21043 5.9GHz 802.11p DSRC High-Power Front-End Module integrates a 5GHz single-pole, double-throw (SPDT) transmit/receive (T/R) switch, a 5GHz high-gain low-noise amplifier (LNA) with bypass, and a 5GHz power amplifier (PA) designed for high-power 802.11p applications and systems.

The Skyworks SKYA21043 High-Power Front-End Module offers LNA and PA disable functions that ensure low leakage current in the off mode. An integrated logarithmic power detector delivers closed-loop power control over a 20dB of dynamic range.

The SKYA21043 High-Power Front-End Module is available in a compact, 24-pin 3mm x 5mm conformally shielded Land Grid Array (LGA) package, allowing a reduction of front-end board space by more than 50 percent.
