AIRPAX / Sensata 209/219/229/249/279 Magnetic Circuit Breakers
AIRPAX / Sensata 209/219/229/249/279 Magnetic Circuit Breakers combine power switching with accurate circuit protection in a compact single or multi-pole unit. These E-frame circuit breakers are available in one through six pole assemblies with various configurations and terminal styles. The 209/219/229/249/279 magnetic circuit breakers feature trip-free action. This action prevents the circuit from remaining closed in the presence of an overload, even when the handle is held in the ON position. These circuit breakers include moisture-resistant finishes. The 209/219/229/249/279 circuit breakers are used in EDP, HVAC/R, panel boards, and lighting controls.
The 209 series circuit breakers use the hydraulic-magnetic principle and adapt to local applications and environments. These circuit breakers comply with UL Standard 489. The 209 series circuit breakers withstand high pulses without tripping or affecting normal delay curves.
The 219 circuit breakers are designed for manual controller applications and are compliant with UL Standard 508. The 229 circuit breakers are ideal for supplementary protector applications and adhere to UL Standard 1077.
