SanRex SG Series Thyristor Tab Terminal Modules

SanRex SG Series Thyristor Tab Terminal Modules are robust, single‑device SCR (silicon‑controlled rectifier) modules designed for reliable AC power control in industrial and home electronics applications. Built using an isolated molded, fast-on package, the SG series provides electrical isolation between the semiconductor element and the mounting surface, enhancing safety and simplifying thermal design. These SanRex SG modules employ high‑reliability glass‑passivated silicon technology, ensuring stable performance, long operating life, and resistance to environmental stress. Available in multiple current and voltage ratings, including 16A or 25A average on‑state current and 400V to 600V voltage classes, the SG series offers flexibility for a wide range of power control requirements.

The modules feature high surge-current capability, well-suited for applications subject to inrush currents, such as motor loads and resistive heating systems. Tab terminals for the anode, cathode, and gate allow fast, secure wiring and simplified assembly, reducing installation time and improving mechanical reliability.

With a 2500VRMS isolation voltage, a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to +125°C, and UL recognition, SanRex SG series thyristor modules are engineered for dependable operation in demanding environments.
