Omron Electronics D2EW Sealed Ultra-Subminiature Basic Switches

Omron Electronics D2EW Sealed Ultra-Subminiature Basic Switches include four variants with normally open (blue collar) or normally closed (red collar) operation and solder or press-fit terminals. These switches are sealed to IP67 against ingress into the interior from all directions and have an 8.3mm x 5.3mm x 7mm package size. The Omron D2EW lineup includes UL-approved models, along with molded lead-wire options and PCB and short press-fit terminal options. These ultra-small sealed switches eliminate the need for a lever, and the pin-plunger shape supports operation over a wide angle between vertical and horizontal. This reduces the effect of play in the cam position and improves operating position tolerance. A left-right asymmetric post shape reduces the risk of incorrect assembly. The D2EW series contributes to energy savings with a minimum applicable load of 50μA.
