Nisshinbo NC2780 Buck Switching Regulator

Nisshinbo NC2780 Buck Switching Regulator is a CMOS-based controller-type buck switching regulator that operates with external high-side and low-side NMOSFETs. This regulator is equipped with a PFM function, which achieves high efficiency even at light loads, enabling low system consumption. The NC2780 switching regulator operates at a 4V to 34V (36V) input voltage range, 250kHz to 1MHz oscillation frequency range, and 0.7V to 5.3V output voltage range. This regulator provides protection features like Overvoltage Detection (OVD), Undervoltage Detection (UVD), Short-Circuit (SC), and output OverCurrent (OC). The NC2780 switching regulator operates from a -40°C to 105°C temperature range. Typical applications include digital TV, DVD players, printers, fax machines, mobile communication equipment, cameras and video instruments, and battery-powered equipment.
