Murata Ultra-Compact Type 2KL Wi-Fi® and BLUETOOTH® Module provides a powerful and versatile wireless connectivity solution that is excellent for many applications in modern IoT projects.
The Type 2KL module features the advanced NXP IW610G combo chipset. The ultra-compact module supports dual-band Wi-Fi 6 (802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax HE20), Bluetooth 5.4 Low Energy, and IEEE 802.15.4 protocols, allowing seamless integration spanning smart home, healthcare, industrial automation, and smart city ecosystems.
The Murata Ultra-Compact Type 2KL Module has a maximum PHY data rate of up to 114.7Mbps on Wi-Fi and 2Mbps on BLUETOOTH® LE. The 2KL module ensures high-speed, reliable communication.
The sophisticated hardware and algorithms optimize performance when Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and 802.15.4 operate simultaneously. The module's small 7.7mm x 8.8mm x 1.3mm shielded form factor, combined with low power consumption and broad OS support, including Linux and FreeRTOS, makes it ideal for size and power-sensitive devices. Fully certified with FCC and IC "Reference" approvals, the 2KL module streamlines development and speeds up time to market for next-generation wireless products.
