Littelfuse SM8S Surface-Mount TVS Diodes

Littelfuse SM8S Surface-Mount Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) Diodes are housed in an SMTO-263 package with lead modifications. The low-profile package minimizes the PCB footprint and is footprint-compatible with the widely used industrial DO-218AB package. The SM8S diodes are designed to safeguard sensitive electronics against lightning and inductive load-switching voltage transient events. The series features low dynamic resistance, a glass-passivated chip junction, and RoHS compliance. Littelfuse SM8S Surface-Mount TVS Diodes are ideal for protecting I/O interfaces, VCC buses, and other vulnerable circuits used in computer, telecom, industrial, and consumer electronic applications.
