Red Lion N-Tron® NT5000 Gigabit Managed Ethernet Switches

Red Lion N-Tron® NT5000 Gigabit Managed Ethernet Switches provide ease of use, reliability, and security, maximizing performance and system uptime. These switches are loaded with security features to help administrators protect the network from unauthorized access. The N-Tron® NT5000 gigabit managed layer 2 Ethernet switches include VLAN ease-of-use enhancements for more complex configurations. These switches feature a compact metal enclosure, fast boot (traffic passes <20 seconds), configurable alarm contact reverse-polarity protection, and configurable bi-color fault status LED. The N-Tron® NT5000 switches provide redundant power inputs ranging from 10VDC to 49VDC and a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to 85°C (model-dependent). These switches are ideal for factory automation, robotics, food and beverage, oil and gas, alternative energy, water/wastewater, marine, and rail.

These switches are available in 6, 8, 10, 16, and 18-port configurations, with various combinations of copper (RJ45) and fiber (SFP) ports to meet specific installation needs. Security features include password encryption, event log/syslog, IEEE 802.1X, RADIUS, MAC security, and configurable password length and multi-level user access to protect the network from unauthorized access.
