Broadcom MegaRAID® 9380-8i8e High Port Count 12Gb/s PCI Express SATA and SAS RAID Controller deliver performance and data protection capabilities for most server and storage platforms. The 9380-8i8e offers double the data transfer rate of 6Gb/s SAS solutions, delivering bandwidth that utilizes the PCI Express 3.0 with one controller card. The MegaRAID® SAS 9380-8i8e delivers two 1.2GHz PowerPC processor cores and a 72-bit DDR3 interface, driving a 2GB cache memory. 

Features include eight internal and eight external ports in a low-profile form factor. High growth fuels the need for a higher performance storage interface, which the 12Gb/s SAS solutions provide.
