ATI Industrial Automation QC-110 Robotic Tool Changers

ATI Industrial Automation QC-110 Robotic Tool Changers enhance a robot's versatility by enabling the use of multiple customer tools, such as grippers, vacuum cup tooling, pneumatic and electric motors, weld guns, and more. The QC-110 Tool Robotic Changer consists of a Master plate, which is attached to the robot arm, and a Tool plate, which is attached to the user's tooling. When the robot picks up the user's tooling, a pneumatically driven locking mechanism couples the two plates. The fail-safe locking mechanism utilizes a multi-tapered cam with ball-locking technology to ensure the ATI tool changer does not uncouple if air pressure falls below 60psi (4.1bar) during operation.

Features

  • Excellent strength-to-weight ratio
  • Up to 3.0mm plate separation when locking with No-Touch locking technology
  • Fail-safe locking mechanism design results in low force acting on the piston
  • Large piston diameter and outward ball travel increase moment capacity
  • Rc58 stainless steel locking parts
  • Internal Lock/Unlock sensing reduces stack height
  • No SIP required
  • Bolts directly to 125mm bolt circle
  • Interface plates available for other bolt circles
  • Ready-to-Lock sensor is standard with DeviceNet

Applications

  • Grippers
  • Vacuum cup tooling
  • Pneumatic and electric motors
  • Weld guns

Specifications

  • 150kg suggested payload limit
  • 12,000N locking force at 80psi (5.5bar)
  • 784Nm static moment capacity (x and y)
  • 784Nm static moment capacity (z)
  • 5.9kg weight when coupled
  • 3.05mm maximum distance between Master and Tool plate before locking at 87psi (6bar)
