Analog Devices Inc. MAX17227A Development Tool is designed to evaluate the MAX17227A 2A nanoPower boost converter, which operates from a 4V to 5V input voltage range. This switching regulator delivers loads up to 2A peak inductor current and offers cycle-by-cycle inductor current limit, short-circuit, and thermal protection.

  • 400mV to 5.5V input voltage range, up to 5.35V in regulation
  • 880mV minimum startup voltage
  • Single resistor adjustable output voltage:
    • 2.3V to 5.2V output voltage range with 100mV steps
    • 5.4V and 5.5V output voltage settings available
  • 2A peak inductor current limit
  • Thermal shutdown protection
