Amphenol RF Micro-Miniature Coaxial Connectors
Amphenol RF Micro-Miniature Coaxial Connectors (MMCX) (MicroMate™) is a micro-miniature connector series with a snap-lock mechanism, allowing for 360° rotation. The MMCX connectors are available in straight and right-angle plugs and printed circuit board connectors. This 6GHz and 50Ω interconnect system is available in surface-mount, edge-card, and cable connectors. Typical applications include antennas, telecom, instrumentation, and broadband.
Amphenol RF's cable assembly expansion includes the MMCX and MCX ultraminiature series that are designed on a flexible 1.13mm micro-coax cable. The MCX series features a robust mechanical design ideal for more rugged applications with space constraints, such as drones and consumer devices. The smaller MMCX to AMC or AMC4 cable assemblies are used to make connections between PCBs and modules in tight spaces in IoT infrastructures.
