Amphenol Piher PSCM Multiturn Rotary Sensors
Amphenol Piher PSCM Multiturn Rotary Sensors are non-contacting multiturn rotary position sensors based on hall-effect technology. These sensors are ideal for substituting wire-actuated encoders by translating a linear movement into an angular position. The PSCM sensors are configurable with 720° to 11.520° (up to 32 revolutions) electrical angular angles and support low and high-voltage power supply. The rotary sensors consist of a high level of ingress protection, vibration, and temperature resistance. These rotary sensors are cost-effective replacements for absolute encoders. Typical applications include industrial/ machine tools, off-highway vehicles, and material handling.Features
- True and contactless operation:
- Without any gears or mechanical interfaces, the sensor is easily assembled, calibrated, and subject to limited wear and tear over a lifetime
- Up to 32 turn absolute position feedback:
- Keeps the last position on power loss with configurable electrical angular angles from 720° to 11.520°
- Made for harsh environments:
- Rugged package protects the sensor from dust, moisture, vibration, and extreme temperatures for usage in the most demanding environments
- Durable and robust design:
- Non-contacting design allows for an extra-long product lifetime of up to 50 million cycles
- Fully customizable:
- Programmable transfer function
- Switch outputs and different output protocols
- Redundancy levels available
