Amphenol Fiber Systems International ARCH® TFOCA-II® Ruggedized Media Converters

Amphenol Fiber Systems International (AFSI) ARCH® TFOCA-II® Ruggedized Media Converters provide optical-electrical (O-E) and electrical-optical (E-O) conversion for harsh environment applications. The plug-and-play media converters allow the effortless conversion of users' systems to take advantage of the benefits of fiber optics without the need to design/develop harsh environment fiber optic transceivers and associated electronics. These stand-alone units feature ruggedized optical transceivers integrated into a compact housing with 10/100/1000 Ethernet electrical interfaces and AFSI's rugged four-channel, hermaphroditic, TFOCA-II® connector. The ARCH® Ruggedized Media Converters support conversion for 10/100/1000 (auto adaptable) Ethernet providing up to 1.0Gb/s transport over 10 miles using single-mode fiber in a compact size.
