Amphenol FCI SAS/PCIe® 6.0 (U.2/SFF8639) Connector
Amphenol FCI SAS/PCIe® 6.0 (U.2/SFF8639) Connector features high-speed 64Gb/s PAM4 design for next-generation servers and storage. This connector features a 68‑position receptacle and plug, which enables the implementation of a high‑speed Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) hard disk drive (HDD) interface. The SAS/PCIe 6.0 (U.2/SFF8639) connector also supports implementation of Peripheral Component Express (PCIe®) based devices. This connector provides a molded guidepost that allows the device plug and receptacle to self-align during mating.
The SAS/PCIe® 6.0 (U.2/SFF8639) connector features a halogen-free, high-temperature thermoplastic to withstand diverse conditions. This connector offers a durability of 500 mating cycles. Typical applications include HDD, HDD carrier, external storage system, interposer card, server, and storage server.
