Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) TBMA800 Test Boards

Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) TBMA800 Test Boards provide a demonstration platform for the MagAlpha MA800 8-Bit Contactless Angle Sensor. The MA800 is designed to replace analogic potentiometers or rotary switches. The MA800 Sensor detects the absolute angular position of a permanent magnet attached to a rotating shaft. Since the measurement is spatially confined, the user has flexibility in terms of magnet shapes and configurations.

The TBMA800 Test Boards are offered in two variants. The Round (RT) Format Board (TBMA800-Q-RD-01A) features the MA800 mounted in an end-of-shaft configuration. The Long (LT) Format Board (TBMA800-Q-LT-01A) features the MA800 mounted on the edge of the board, enabling it to be used in either a side-shaft or an end-of-shaft configuration.

The TBMA800 Test Boards are designed to work with the Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) EVKT-MACOM MagAlpha Communication Kit and the MACOM App Software. When used together, these tools enable the user to evaluate the functionality and performance of the MA800, such as noise level, refresh rate, start-up time, and magnetic field dependence.
