NXP Semiconductors FRDM-MCXL255 Development Board

NXP Semiconductors FRDM-MCXL255 Development Board is a compact development platform for rapid prototyping with MCXL255, MCXL254, and MCXL253 microcontrollers. The board features an MCXL255 MCU with a dual-core Arm® architecture designed for low-power, battery-operated applications. The board offers integrated external flash, sensors, user controls, and standard expansion headers, enabling flexible evaluation and application development.

The NXP FRDM-MCXL255 Development Board includes an onboard MCU-Link debugger with CMSIS-DAP support for programming and debugging via a USB Type-C® connection. Arduino®, FRDM, mikroBUS™, sensor, and LCD headers provide access to MCU I/O, simplify expansion with compatible sensors and add-on boards, and allow the use of compatible sensors and add-on boards. The platform also includes an accelerometer, a magnetic sensor, an RGB LED, an LCD, and buttons for prototyping interactive and sensing applications.

MCUXpresso Developer Experience provides the supporting software ecosystem. Developers can access SDK-compatible expansion-board drivers through the Expansion Board Hub and browse software examples through the Application Code Hub.
