Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) EVL1604-TL-00A Evaluation Board is designed to demonstrate the performance of the MP1604 synchronous step-down converter. The board operates from a 2.4V to 5.5V input range and delivers up to 4A of continuous output current. The MPS evaluation board showcases constant-on-time (COT) control for fast transient response and precise output regulation. The board also highlights key protection features, including over-current protection, hiccup-mode current limiting, and thermal shutdown, while requiring only a minimal number of external components.
