Infineon Technologies PROFET™ Smart High-Side Switch Evaluation Boards

Infineon Technologies PROFET™ Smart High-Side Switch Evaluation Boards consist of various daughterboards, and depending on the device's features, the daughterboard provides additional functionalities. It is essential to note that the setup and operation of the daughterboards are contingent upon a combination with a motherboard. The two components are designed to work in tandem, and the daughterboard's functionality is optimized when used with a motherboard. The usage of a ground resistor RGND is recommended. Therefore, it is suggested to close the jumper XGND. Depending on which daughterboard is plugged onto the motherboard, a different number of banana jacks OUT0 to OUT7 are in use. For optimal current capability, it is recommended to use the maximum number of available banana jacks.

The D-BTH6035-1EPL-4 and D-BTH6080-1EPL-4 evaluation daughterboards require an additional motherboard for operation. Smart Power Switch Motherboard Lite without a microcontroller, but with connectivity to control the device with lab equipment, or Smart Power Switch Motherboard with a microcontroller for use with our Infineon Smart Power Switches configuration Wizard (GUI) available via the Infineon Developer Center. On the daughterboard is a dip switch with different values provided for evaluation.

The D-BTH6070-2EPV-4, D-BTH6100-2EPA-4, D-BTH6200-1ENA-4, and D-BTH6200-4ESA-4 evaluation daughterboards also require an additional motherboard for operation. However, on these daughterboards, two options are available: Smart Power Switch Motherboard Lite, without a microcontroller but with connectivity to control the device using lab equipment, or Smart Power Switch Motherboard with a microcontroller for use with our Infineon Smart Power Switches configuration Wizard (GUI) available via the Infineon Developer Center.
