Mouser Electronics Sponsors Tongji University's DIAN Racing Team

Mouser Electronics is proud to announce its sponsorship for Tongji University's DIAN Racing Team in the Formula SAE (FSAE). The world-class, student-level Formula One racing event is divided into separate competitions for electric vehicles and petrol vehicles. The DIAN Racing Team sponsored by Mouser shall represent Tongji University in the championship pursuit of the electric vehicle race.

Since its establishment in 1979, the FSAE has developed into a championship consisting of 20 events hosted by 15 countries each year, and it is now a grand gathering of young engineers representing hundreds of top universities across the globe. The championship requires teams to construct a durable race car with high-performance acceleration, brakes and handling within a 1-year period, and successfully complete items listed in the regulations. Tongji University, sponsored by Mouser, was one of the earliest Chinese universities to participate in the championship. Tongji University formed a FSAE team in 2007, and it was awarded the Third Prize in the Presentation Event and New Team.

DIAN Racing is a renowned veteran team in the FSAE sector in China. Tongji University has never ceased its efforts towards innovation, and this year, precision components authorized for distribution by Mouser are incorporated into the development process. These components will provide the race car for the new season with better stability and handling performance.
