NXP Semiconductor MCF51AG 32-bit ColdFire® microcontrollers (MCUs) are low-power, high-performance devices operating at processor core speeds up to 50.33MHz. NXP MCF51AG 32-bit ColdFire MCUs integrate technologies that are important for consumer and industrial applications such as DMA, intelligent event controller (iEvent), EWM, FTM/TPM modules, and CRC hardware accelerator. NXP MCF51AG MCUs target intelligent smart appliance and industrial applications. These NXP devices have a peripheral set aligned to the needs of advanced 3-phase motor control to improve the overall energy efficiency of the application. Also included is functionality important for system safety and integrity, such as an advanced independently clocked COP, external watchdog monitor and a cyclic redundancy check (CRC) engine providing CLK failure protection and memory content validation for applications covered by regulations such as IEC60730.
