U182 Roller485 Units

M5Stack U182 Roller485 Units are brushless DC motor actuator kits for efficient motion control. The M5Stack U182 supports 6VDC to 16VDC input via the PWR485 interface or 5V via the Grove interface, automatically adjusting power for optimal performance. An internal FOC closed-loop drive system uses a 3504 200KV motor and handles up to 0.5A continuous current (1A peak). A magnetic encoder provides feedback for precise current, speed, and position control. The axle can optionally include a slip ring, allowing continuous 360° rotation while maintaining power and data transmission. An OLED display on the back shows real-time status, and RGB lights and buttons enable user interaction. LEGO-compatible and M3 screw holes allow for easy mounting. The Roller485 Unit is fully open-source, with control via RS485 or I2C buses and SWD/SWO debugging interfaces for added flexibility. It is ideal for robotic joints, motion control, industrial automation, and visual demonstrations.
