EXTreme Guardian Power Connector System

Molex EXTreme Guardian Power Connector System, previously named EXTreme Power Interconnect (EPIC), features small package sizes with a centerline pitch of 11mm. The system supports up to 8A per contact, providing good shielding characteristics in EMI-sensitive environments, and features hot-plugging capabilities and UL safety features. Headers are available in two-circuit, single-flanged, and three-circuit, dual-flanged versions. Cable assemblies are available in three-circuit, straight, shielded, and unshielded versions for high-voltage applications and are UL touch-safe. 

EXTreme Power Connectors

Molex EXTreme Power Connectors are specifically designed to support high-current applications. To operate at peak efficiency, today's data centers require interconnects that accommodate significant amounts of power, and Molex EXTreme power products meet those challenges. These power connectors are available in an extensive range of configurations for seamless integration into new and existing applications.

EXTreme Guardian HD Power Connectors

Molex EXTreme Guardian HD Power Connectors feature high current density in a low-profile package, which offers design flexibility while providing a configurable hybrid power/signal solution. These connectors offer a current density of up to 130A per blade, while gold contact plating provides low interface resistance. The small centerline spacing of 5.15mm reduces the connectors' PCB footprint compared to legacy power products. PCB pegs enable accurate through-hole positioning and secure retention, while through-hole solder and press-fit tails offer flexible manufacturing options. Molex EXTreme Guardian HD Power Connectors feature a redundant contact design that handles up to 125V and supports AC or DC high-voltage applications with the lowest feasible voltage drop and irreversible dissipative power losses. This series offers UL and CSA certification.
