Qwiic Connect System

SparkFun Qwiic Connect System is an ecosystem of I2C sensors, actuators, shields, and cables that make prototyping faster and less prone to error. The Qwiic Connect System uses the Inter-integrated Circuit (I2C) Protocol. I2C protocol is intended to allow multiple "slave" digital integrated circuits to communicate with one or more "master" chips with only two wires.

Qwiic Human Presence Sensor Breakout (SEN-14349)

SparkFun Qwiic Human Presence Sensor Breakout (SEN-14349) is a 4-channel Nondispersive Infrared (NDIR) sensor that detects the presence and direction of movement of a person. This breakout board features a digital I2C interface, AK9753 sensor module, and 16-bit reading on all four channels. The onboard AK9753 low-power and compact Infrared-Ray (IR) sensor module comprise four quantum IR sensors and an IC for characteristic compensation. The four sensor outputs of AK9753 provide the IR current in picoamps via an I2C interface. The PIR reading varies from -200 to 1500 depending on if a human is detected standing in front of a given channel.

Qwiic Breakout Boards

Qwiic Breakouts are compact boards, each based around a device that provides input or output to a Qwiic Connect project. Options include optical sensors, temperature sensors, accelerometers, magnetometers, Real Time Clocks, and GPS modules. Most Qwiic Breakouts have two or more connectors allowing multiple devices to be connected.
