This development kit runs on the BOS1921 CapDrive® driver, which includes software algorithms for capacitive touch and force sensing. The waveform design software allows a sharp click, a smooth slide, and a subtle buzz. Configurable force thresholds can trigger distinct actions and haptic responses on a single surface, enabling multi-level button interactions without additional hardware. Typical applications include AI glasses, smartphones and mobile devices, laptops, and consumer electronics with solid-state button.
