High-Frequency Planar Cores
Fair-Rite High-Frequency Planar Cores are power materials that accommodate GaN and SiC semiconductor technologies and meet the needs for efficiency and heat management in power supply designs. Fair-Rite 67 Material features superior performance up to 25MHz. With low losses and good temperature stability, this material is ideal for switching power supplies above 5MHz. The 61 Material is an alternative to 67 Material in applications where higher permeability is valued over lower losses. The 79 Material offers operating frequencies up to 1MHz and is optimized for minimal losses at elevated temperatures. The 80 Material Mn-Zn ferrite is optimized for use in SiC and GaN switching power supplies, providing a stable temperature response for designs up to 5MHz.
