MAX20479 2/3-Input Automotive Voltage Monitors

Analog Devices MAX20479 2/3-Input Automotive Voltage Monitors are highly integrated devices designed to provide robust power‑system supervision in safety‑critical automotive applications. Fully ASIL‑B compliant, the devices serve as a system‑on‑a‑chip (SoC) voltage monitor that significantly reduces component count while enhancing reliability in advanced electronic control systems. Engineered for flexibility, the ADI MAX20479 supports 2.35V to 5.50V supply operation and features multiple voltage monitoring inputs. Inputs 1 and 2 can be programmed to monitor voltages from 0.5V to 3.6875V in precise 12.5mV steps, while input 3 (available on MAX20479B/D variants) covers a wider 0.5V to 5.6V range with 20mV resolution. Each monitored channel includes independently selectable overvoltage (OV) and undervoltage (UV) thresholds ranging from 2.5% to 10%, with a high accuracy of ±0.8%.
