Amphenol Aerospace High-Speed Solutions feature connector and cable solutions for both high-speed copper and fiber-optic applications. Amphenol Aerospace high-speed fiber-optic interconnects are designed for use in harsh environments in military and aerospace applications. Amphenol Aerospace high-speed/high-frequency copper interconnects provide high-speed transmission and operate in high-frequency conditions. Amphenol Aerospace also provides a large array of high-speed cable assemblies with high-speed Quadrax and differential Twinax contacts, as well as coax and concentric Twinax contacts.

CTF-4G-2 Media Converters

Amphenol Aerospace CTF-4G-2 Media Converter offers a flexible, affordable, and rugged fiber copper converter system with many options available. Amphenol Aerospace has taken two technologies and combined them into a hybrid connector. Now you can transfer high speed data seamlessly from copper to fiber and from fiber to copper. There is no need for internal subsystem fiber harnesses, interconnect, or transceivers. The CTF-4G-2 Media Converter utilizes copper transceivers and existing interconnect (backplane, harnessing, faceplate) for system fiber connection. Media conversion at the connector reduces system complexity and cost. The MS29504 system fiber interface supports speeds of 1G, 2G, 4G, 10Gbps and the copper interface supports 2X high speed channels on 6.5 Gbps capable split pair quadrax PC tails or flex assembly. Full ruggedization for environmentals and EMI/EMP is standard on the Fiber to Copper Converter.
