TPS92629-Q1 40V Single-Channel LED Driver

Texas Instruments TPS92629-Q1 40V Single-Channel LED Driver includes a unique thermal management design to reduce temperature rising on the device. The TPS92629-Q1 is a linear driver directly powered by automotive batteries with large voltage variations to output full current loads up to 250mA. External shunt resistors are leveraged to share output current and dissipate power out of the driver. The device’s full-diagnostic capabilities include LED open, LED short-to-GND, LED short-to-battery circuit, and device overtemperature protection. The high accuracy optimized slew rate of analog dimming control support off-board long-wire driving with enhanced EMC performance. The Texas Instruments TPS92629-Q1 also eliminates flick and after-image issues. Different voltage levels could report multiple faults through fault pins for safety-critical applications.

IS32LT3175N/P Single-Channel Linear LED Drivers

ISSI IS32LT3175N/P Single-Channel Linear LED Drivers come with fade in/out and PWM dimming. The regulators serve as a stand-alone LED driver-configurable from 20mA to 150mA with external resistors, no microcontroller is necessary. A logic level “courtesy light” signal from the PWM pin can be interfaced to precisely drive the LED channel. The IS32LT3175P obtains a positive polarity PWM signal. In addition, the IS32LT3175N obtains a negative polarity PWM signal. The regulator integrates a 63-step fade-in and fades out the algorithm (Gamma correction). This causes the output LED current to increasingly rise up to the full source value after the EN pin is pulsed.
