PowerTube Connectors

TE Connectivity's (TE) PowerTube Connectors are designed for high-power applications in hybrid and electric industrial and commercial vehicles. These connectors are built for handling large electrical loads, up to 500A continuous current, depending on wire size and temperature, and 1000V. The PowerTube connectors can also handle multiple wire sizes, between 35mm2 to 150mm2. Manufactured with scalability and modularity in mind, the PowerTube header is available in 180° or 90° orientations and up to 3 positions per connector. A refined circular design simplifies cable routing and connector assembly. TE's PowerTube Connectors provide reliable, safe connectivity thanks to IP6K9K dust and water ingress protection, Connector Position Assurance (CPA), a robust design to withstand engine-level vibration and High Voltage Interlock Loop (HVIL) safety features in each pin.

High Power Charging Inlets

TE Connectivity's (TE) High Power Charging Inlets support high-power charging, reducing downtime and maximising productivity. These inlets feature a rugged design for vehicles and equipment that operate in harsh environments and have extended lifetimes. Capable of supporting continuous higher power charging of up to 500A for quick charging, these inlets allow vehicles to work in harsh off-motorway conditions without the risk of a charging failure. These inlets are modular, allowing users to customise the product to their specific requirements, including a choice of 95mm2 or 120mm2 DC cable, optional protective flaps to keep out dust and moisture, and an LED charging indicator option. TE High Power Charging Inlets are suitable for charging battery electric vehicles with either AC or DC charging.
