MCP Hybrid Coaxial Connectors

TE Connectivity's MCP Hybrid Coaxial Connectors use existing unsealed MCP connectors to provide a coaxial data connection up to 9GHz. Additionally, these connectors also use nine signal/power MCON 1.2 CB terminals to enable the implementation of high-resolution cameras within trucks and buses. The MCP hybrid coaxial connectors are primarily designed for unsealed firewalls and bulkhead passthrough applications with MCP housing. In contrast, these connectors are more typically used for connections passing through the firewall within a truck or bus to connect the front and rear cameras. The MCP hybrid coaxial connectors are easy to assemble in existing firewall frames, which provides potential cost and time savings when engineering upgrades for vehicles. Typical applications include cameras, telemetry units, antennas, firewall V2X, and GPS.
