Automotive LED Drivers

ROHM Semiconductor Automotive LED Drivers are AEC-Q100 qualified automotive-grade ICs. These are available as a broad lineup of step-up (Boost), Buck-Boost (DC/AC), and constant-current/serial-in parallel-out LED driver variants optimized for the requirements of the designers. The automotive LED drivers operate from -40°C up to 125°C temperature range. The applications include automotive LED exterior lighting (rear lamp, turn Lamp, DRL/position lamp, and fog lamp), LED interior lighting, camera flashes, instrument backlighting, and LED status indicators.

Automotive Lighting Solutions

ROHM Semiconductor Automotive Lighting Solutions combine LED driver ICs required for LED lighting control along with compact high-reliability LEDs. These automotive lighting solutions address the need to support the advancement of sensing and safety functions required for autonomous driving technology. The automotive solutions turn LEDs ON/OFF and control lighting to increase safety. The Automotive solutions from ROHM offer an extensive lineup of advanced products and solutions for applications. The -4ch linear LED driver ICs enable individual lamp control and integrate a novel thermal distribution circuit. This simplifies thermal design to AEC-Q101 qualified surface mount chip LEDs that deliver high brightness along with improved reliability in a compact form factor.

IS32LT3175N/P Single-Channel Linear LED Drivers

ISSI IS32LT3175N/P Single-Channel Linear LED Drivers come with fade in/out and PWM dimming. The regulators serve as a stand-alone LED driver-configurable from 20mA to 150mA with external resistors, no microcontroller is necessary. A logic level “courtesy light” signal from the PWM pin can be interfaced to precisely drive the LED channel. The IS32LT3175P obtains a positive polarity PWM signal. In addition, the IS32LT3175N obtains a negative polarity PWM signal. The regulator integrates a 63-step fade-in and fades out the algorithm (Gamma correction). This causes the output LED current to increasingly rise up to the full source value after the EN pin is pulsed.
