Temperature Sensors for Video Conferencing Systems

A temperature sensor measures cold or heat as a temperature or temperature gradient, and it is often used in control loops or for monitoring on a comparative scale. In electronics, silicon bandgap sensors are among the most common for highly accurate temperature measurements over a relatively small range. The technology is based on the principle that as the temperature of a silicon diode increases, the forward voltage of the diode increases proportionally. This method is generally very low cost, allowing the sensor to be built into an integrated circuit. Many applications require some implementation of temperature sensing for local thermal management.
