ESD/TVS Diodes

ROHM Semiconductor Electrostatic Discharge (ESD)/ Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) diodes are highly reliable protection diodes in ultra-small and small mold types. These include ESD protection diodes, ultra-low capacitance ESD protection diodes, low-capacitance ESD protection diodes, low-capacitance protection devices, bidirectional Zener diodes, bi-directional ESD protection diodes, and TVS diodes. ROHM Semiconductor ESD/TVS diodes are available in various working voltages, diode capacitances, and power dissipation values. These diodes feature unidirectional and bidirectional polarity variants and Surface Mount Device (SMD) termination style.

RASMID™ Transient Voltage Suppressor Diodes

ROHM Semiconductor RASMID™ Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) Diodes are ultra-compact devices and part of ROHM Advanced Smart Micro Devices (RASMID) products that utilize breakthrough technology. The RASMID technology offers a superior dimensional accuracy (less than ±10um), making it possible to develop smaller products. ROHM Semiconductor RASMID Transient Voltage Suppressor Diodes are bidirectional with an ESD protection level of ±8kV. TVS diodes are used in a variety of circuits for miniaturized and enhanced electronic devices that require sophisticated protection elements. When transient voltages and currents are generated in the circuit, they are absorbed by the actions of the TVS, but low clamp TVS are required to further reduce the load on the protected application. Such applications are cellular handsets and accessories, portable electronics, data lines, and audio and video equipment.

ROHM Semiconductor VS3V Series Transient Voltage Suppressors provide highly reliable, bi-directional ESD protection. The VS3V Series supports an ESD protection level of ±8kV. The ROHM VS3V TVS features a ±10um dimension tolerance. The devices are ideal for portable electronics, data lines, and audio/video equipment.

RASMID™ Resistors & Diodes

ROHM RASMID™ Resistors and Diodes are a group of ultra-compact components offering breakthrough miniaturization levels utilizing techniques. These resistors and diodes feature unprecedented miniaturization and superior dimensional accuracy ±10µm. The RASMID products include Zener diodes, Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) diodes, Schottky barrier diodes, and 03015-size chip resistors. The 0402 sizes (0.4mm x 0.2mm) diodes are ideal for high-density applications such as smartphones and portable devices. These diodes consume very little energy and are environmentally friendly.
