SM6FxAY TVS Diodes

STMicroelectronics SM6FxAY Transient-Voltage-Suppressor (TVS) Diodes are designed to protect sensitive automotive circuits against surges defined in ISO 7637-2 and electrostatic discharges according to ISO 10605. These diodes incorporate planar technology, making them compatible with sophisticated circuits where low leakage current and high junction temperature are required for long-term reliability and stability. The SM6FxAY diodes are AEC-Q101 qualified and unidirectional. These TVS diodes offer protection with a stand-off voltage range of 5V to 36V, ensuring the safety of sensitive automotive circuits against potential damage.

These devices feature a fast response time and a peak pulse power of 600W (10/1000μs). Featuring Planar Technology, these TVS devices are ideal for high-end equipment and Switched Mode Power Supply (SMPS) applications where low leakage current and high junction temperature are required to provide long-term reliability and stability. Their low clamping voltages provides a high safety margin to protect sensitive circuits with extended life time expectancy. STMicroelectronics 600W TVS Diodes also feature a maximum junction Temperature (TJ) rating of +175°C, ensuring protection in high temperatures and harsh environments.
