The regulators are used in 5V, 12V, and 24V input rails to accommodate various applications, including computing, consumer electronics, telecom, and industrial. SiC431 evaluation boards test 3V to 24V input, 24A microBUCK DC/DC converters. The SiC437 and SiC438 evaluation boards evaluate 3V to 28V input, 8A/12A microBUCK DC/DC converters.

The SiC431 regulators are integrated with high- and low-side power MOSFETs and offer up to 97% peak efficiency. These regulators can deliver up to 24A continuous current at up to 1MHz switching frequency. The SiC431 regulators provide full protection features that include output Over-Voltage Protection (OVP), cycle by cycle Over-Current Protection (OCP), Short Circuit Protection (SCP), and thermal shutdown. Typical applications include automation, industrial, distributed power architectures (with 5V, 12V, or 24V rails), desktops, notebooks, servers, industrial computing, and consumer electronics.
